About Bremerton MotorSports Park
Bremerton
MotorSports Park, a volunteer non-profit corporation established in 2002, is
dedicated to the development of a multi-use racing facility for the fans and
drivers of the region and to further the economic and recreational diversity
of Kitsap County.
Motorsports have had an important presence in
Kitsap County starting in the 1950's. The Sports Car Club of America held
races at the current site in 1954. Olympic timing association started drag
racing later that decade and Handlers Racing association continues to offer
drag racing opportunities to the present.
Bremerton Sports Car Club
and many other groups have used the inactive runway for Autocross driving
events for over 30 years. However, the current site will soon be unavailable
for motorsports use. Our plan is to develop a multi-use facility where
several styles of motorsport can play together with minimal schedule
conflicts using a wisely engineered sharing of facilities and
infrastructure.
